PeopleSoft 9.2 Upgrade and Business Process Re-Design

Led successful PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Re-Implementation/Business Transformation project from version 8.8 and 8.9 to 9.2 for $2B Government Contractor. Collaborated daily with SVP of Business Process and Executive Director of IT to manage all phases of delivery. Provided Functional and Technical experts to support all phases of project. Included Finance and Supply Chain modules – GL, AP, AR, EX, AM, ePro, sPro, PO, BI, PC, and CA. HCM modules – HR, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Recruiting, and Time and Labor. 

HR Business Transformation

 Challenge:

  • Disjointed and inconsistent processes across all HR functions
  • Organizational changes and consolidation of functions

Results: 

  • Identified and documented 233 HR Services
  • Weighted Value 233 Services to identify priority of Process and Technology Improvements
  • Landed on 51 Process and Technology Improvements to implement
  • Structured Organizational changes and stood up centralized HR Shared Services organization


Provided Project Management and Leadership for Human Resources Business Transformation program.  Worked closely with C-Level management, including CFO, CIO, CHRO, and COO’s of each Operating Group. Focused on HR Centers of Excellence (COE), and worked daily with Vice Presidents and Directors for each COE (Benefits, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Data Integrity, Compensation, and Core HR) to determine Process and Organizational changes to streamline operations and reduce cost. Successfully completed transition to Shared Services model.. 

PeopleSoft Order Management and Inventory Implementation

Challenge:

  • ManTech International received a large multi-year contract with a high profile Government Agency to provide complete technology infrastructure support. The scope of the contract included procurement and support of computers, peripherals, network equipment, software, mobile devices, conference room  equipment, relocation services and other on-demand services. ManTech needed to set up the processes and systems to support this contract.

Results: 

  • With OMSM’s help, ManTech met all the timelines laid out by its client.      ManTech’s system and processes met the four major milestones of:
  • Receiving orders for computing devices,
  • Receiving phone orders for AT&T,
  • Receiving phone orders for Verizon.
  • Integration with client’s Unified Chargeback system.
  • OMSM team also identified several opportunities for transformational improvements and executed them successfully to build greater efficiency in the areas of billing & revenue recognition, capitalization and integration with client system.
  • ManTech is now not only fully equipped to execute this contract successfully; but also ready to scale up with new contracts of similar nature.


OMSM worked with an internal ManTech team to set up the Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes using a combination of PeopleSoft and ServiceNow systems. OMSM resources worked closely with ManTech’s client and Technology teams to design and build/configure the end-to-end processes. OMSM resources also assisted with overall Program Management of the above-mentioned work-streams. They took a phased approach to meet the prioritized demands of ManTech’s client.
